Canon 350D Mod: Double the Astro Fun!

This past week, fresh off the visit from my friend Julio and his lovely family, we seized the opportunity to mod two more Canon 350D cameras – one for him and one for another pal. Everything went super smoothly! It definitely helped that I still had some muscle memory from modding my own 350D a few months back.

That brings my total to three successful modifications, each involving the replacement of the original low-pass filter with a fantastic Baader ACF filter. So, if you’re looking to get your Canon DSLR modified, don’t hesitate to reach out! I can either remove the original low-pass filter entirely or swap it out for a Baader filter. In both scenarios, the boost in Ha sensitivity is truly phenomenal.
