Keeping My Observatory PCs Cool (Literally!)

August is usually a quiet month for me, so I decided to tackle a little DIY project at the observatory. With two PCs running full tilt in the middle of summer, my “tech closet” was quickly turning into a sauna! Clearly, something had to be done.

My solution? I slapped two small 80mm fans onto the closet doors – one to pull in cool ambient air, and the other to exhaust the hot air trapped inside. The resulting airflow is perfect, and my PCs are breathing a sigh of relief!
