André Brahic’s ‘Starlight’ Conference: An Unforgettable Journey!

To celebrate the release of his new book, “Lumières d’étoiles” (Starlight), André Brahic gave a conference today at the Médiathèque Emile Zola in Montpellier. Living just a stone’s throw away, missing this would have been a crime!

I was lucky enough to catch one of his previous presentations several years ago, and even had the pleasure of sharing a great meal with him afterward… And what a pleasant surprise – he hasn’t changed a bit! Right from the get-go, he set the perfect tone, sweeping us into a passionate, often hilarious adventure… always at the speed of light, of course!

The book itself sounds absolutely fascinating, diving into the latest astronomical discoveries made possible by observing across the electromagnetic spectrum – visible, millimeter, infrared, X-ray, gamma-ray, ultraviolet, you name it!
