The Ultimate Astro-Surprise: Chile Edition!
Every year, I host an astro week under the stars in Ardèche with my friends from Spain. This year, though, I decided to shake things up a bit! With a little help from Mikel and Julio’s wife, we cooked up an out-of-this-world surprise for him: an 18-day trip to Chile! The plan was to explore the country, with a special focus on astronomical sites, especially the observatories of Deep Sky Chile! Right up until the day before we left, Julio thought he was just coming to France for a few days, business as usual. The surprise was HUGE, and full of emotion!
