Google Gets Galactic!

My default browser homepage is Google, and today I got a really pleasant surprise! The search engine’s new logo was celebrating the Perseid meteor shower night! Seriously, the International Year of Astronomy is just awesome!

UPDATE 08/25/09: Another fantastic surprise today when I fired up Google! They’re celebrating the 400th anniversary of Galileo’s telescope. As always, the logo is incredibly well done.
