IPX: Leveling Up to V4!
Upgrading My Observatory’s Brain: Hello IPX800V4!
Back in 2015, I completely revamped the electrical wiring at the observatory, and while I was at it, I installed an IPX800V3. Later, with Franck’s setup moving in, I added an X880 extension module. Fast forward to our work with Franck in Chile, building the Deep Sky Chile observatories, and that’s where I first laid eyes on the IPX800V4. I instantly fell in love! So, I decided it was time to replace the IPX800V3 at Petit Borobia with the shiny new V4. Since the old X880 extension module wasn’t compatible with the V4, I also had to swap it out for the X8R model.

The V4’s interface is a massive improvement over the V3’s, and the controller’s configuration options are far more advanced and powerful.
