M42 – My Astrodon 1100D's First Light!
Big News: This photo was selected as an AAPOD on 04/16/2012!
This is my first quick test shot with the freshly Astrodon-modified Canon 1100D. Total integration time was just a bit over two hours, because Madame Selene (the Moon!) quickly decided to crash the party and spoil the view… Despite that, the result is super encouraging and really shows how well the 1100D’s small pixels pair up with the short focal length of the FLT110, especially with its 0.8x reducer.
