The Day Mercury Crossed the Sun

Yesterday, a pretty rare celestial event graced our skies: the transit of Mercury! Peeking out between the clouds, I managed to snag a few shots of the moment with my Tamron 150-600, just perched on a simple tripod from a window in the house. The focal length was a tad short for such a tiny, discreet event, but hey, it still yielded some interesting results!
