A Stellar Weekend at the Observatory

This past weekend, my brother-in-law Manolo and I paid a visit to the observatory. We had an awesome night, observing until 4:30 AM! We mixed things up, alternating between visual treats (the Moon, M13, M17, Saturn, and Jupiter) and some deep-sky photography (the Moon, Iris Nebula, and Pelican Nebula). Manolo, with his trusty Lumix sporting some sweet Leica optics, managed to snap a couple of truly beautiful shots of the observatory itself. Check out these results (these were 1-minute exposures):
