Fat Isaac (ASI533MC on T300)

Fat Isaac is my OSC setup. Its field allows me to photograph galaxies and “small” objects in the Milky Way.

Equipment:

• SW EQ8-R Pro mount
• Modified SW Quattro 300P telescope:
  • Full tube flocking
  • Matte black painting of reflective elements
  • Addition of an air extractor behind the primary
• Artesky 2” rack and pinion focuser + ZWO EAF
• TSGPU Coma corrector (1x: 300/1200 - F/4)
• ZWO OAG-L off-axis guider + ZWO ASI 220MM Mini
• ZWO EFW filter wheel (5x2”) + ZWO/Svbony filters
• ZWO ASI 533MC Pro main camera

Field of view: 0.54° × 0.54°
Resolution: 0.65”/pixel (Bin 1)

Teenie Galilei (ASI2600MM on FLT110)

Teenie Galilei is my SHO setup. Its field allows me to photograph most objects in our galaxy.

Equipment:

• SW EQ6-R Pro mount
• WO FLT 110 TEC refractor
• Feather Touch 3” rack and pinion focuser + ZWO EAF
• Starizona APEX ED-L corrector / reducer
• ZWO OAG-L off-axis guider + ZWO ASI 220MM Mini
• ZWO EFW II filter wheel + Astrodon filters
• ZWO ASI 2600MM Pro main camera
• Deep Sky Dad OFP2 motorized flat panel

Field of view: 2.9° × 1.94°
Resolution: 1.67”/pixel (Bin 1)

DSC is the setup I share with Mikel Martinez. It is installed in Chile at Deep Sky Chile.

• Takahashi FSQ 106 refractor
• Takahashi focuser + ZWO EAF
• Takahashi 0.73x reducer
• Sky Meca SkyTrack 2.5” off-axis guider
• Moravian G3-16200 main camera
