St-Jean-de-Védas: My Stargazing Sessions!

Free Stargazing Nights with Killian Beaudoin!

My friend Killian Beaudoin is organizing some awesome free public stargazing nights with his brand new 300mm Dobsonian! mediatheque_jules_vernes_st_jean_de_vedas.jpg These sessions are a fantastic collaboration with the Jules Verne Media Library in St-Jean-de-Védas (34430), and they’ll be happening once a month on a Friday evening, right on the grounds next to the library.

Mark your calendars! The very first “head in the stars” (a.k.a. stargazing) event is scheduled for Friday, April 17th, kicking off at 8:30 PM. This inaugural night is perfectly timed for a moonless sky, and Killian will be guiding us through a tour of galaxies! In case of cloudy skies or bad weather, the session will pivot to an engaging astronomy talk instead. But honestly, knowing Killian as I do, I’m absolutely certain of one thing: it’s going to be a fascinating and fun evening no matter what! soirees_astro_st_jean_de_vedas.jpg
